Privacy Policy

Typing tests and practice tools run locally in the browser. There is no registration and no account. No analytics script is installed by default. No advertising tracking script is installed by default. Typed practice text and test passages are not transmitted to a remote service by this site.

localStorage

If the browser allows it, completed test metrics may be stored under the key tpl-history. Each record can include a timestamp, planned and actual duration, difficulty, net WPM, gross WPM, accuracy, correct character count, incorrect character count, and whether the attempt ended early. Passage text is not stored. Records exist so you can see recent sessions, a simple average, and a chart on this device. At most 30 records are kept. They remain until you clear them or the browser deletes site data.

You can clear the list on the results page or with the button below. Clearing requires confirmation.

If localStorage is blocked, tests still run. Saving history is skipped and an on-page note says so.
